A new era

Emma has started to crawl, not just ooch, C-R-A-W-L. I caught her trying to get into the media equipment the other day. Sigh. My life, and house, will never be the same. And yes, she is only 5 1/2 months old.

Swimming

Emma is enjoying her Guardian Swim sessions. We go for a half hour swim on Saturdays. Today Doug took Emma into the pool while I did the Proud Mommy With Camera routine. She looks very cute in her swim diaper, this one is purple with mermaids.

Whenever Emma sneezed they come in pairs. I think she takes after her dad too...

Emma has started on cereals and even had a taste of green beans. Can you tell which she likes better?

Emma loves her Jolly Jumper. She will bounce for 45 minutes and be happy as a clam the entire time.

Faces of Emma - 5 Months

I haven't posted faces of Emma in a while. Here she is at 5 months.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Emma received stuffed Pooh animals from our friend Keri. Her favourite is Tigger. She has a great time on the floor mauling him. Mind you sometimes he gets the better of her.

Happy New Year!

We had a quiet holiday this year, choosing to stay at home for a change. Both Doug and I have been traveling for Christmas holidays for the last 10-15 years. Now with Emma, we decided it was time to start some of our own traditions.

On New Years Eve we rang in the new year by listening to some Christmas jazz, completing our Christmas puzzle (we try to do one over the holidays: our 1st tradition) and trying to put Emma to sleep (an ongoing challenge).
